Major I, my first
Boxer, pictured here with my mother, joined my family in 1963. He enriched
my life for 13 wonderful years.
Major
traveled extensively with our family, and even "bootlegged" a 1.5 hour
trip to Florida on a USAF aircraft. Major also joined me on a trip aboard
the USS United States cruise liner.
Major
and Ed Payne. Major was no small Boxer, weighing in at 110 lb.., he was
a gentle giant. He would often hang his large fore body over a 40" fence
so the little guys on the other side could pet him.
